Hola!
My name is Mayke - founder and designer of Holy She Swim. Born and raised in Holland, in 2007 I followed the sun and settled in Barcelona, where I was inspired to start my swimwear line. 
 
A proud mother of 2 beautiful children, who love to test all of my new pieces.  Although I started the matching pieces before I was a mother I absolutely love matching with these little ones on the beach.
 

I believe that every woman (mother or not) should feel comfortable, free and beautiful in swimwear to match with their little one.

Making Memories & Feeling Confident

Before starting the matching swimwear I read an article about the insecurity of mothers in bikinis which said that 75% of mothers do not show any holiday pictures because of their insecurity of their bodies. This was one of the reasons why I decided Holy She has to be all about making memories with your mini(s) and feel good instead of insecure. 

All pieces are designed to fit your body perfectly and make you feel comfortable, beautiful and confident while matching with your mini and making memories with your family. I have put my heart into this company and seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they like one of my pieces fills my heart. 

Handmade & Sustainable

We're now in the 21st century and all trying to do our bit. I am a strong believer in having a couple of good pieces that will last many years and which are ethically made then many of lesser quality. I design and produce all the high quality pieces myself  at my studio in Barcelona, to avoid  exploitation of wages or unfair working conditions. All the pieces are handmade & made to order. This allows me to be environmentally friendly by reducing overproduction.

The carefully crafted pieces from Holy She are all inspired by Barcelona lifestyle and ideal for swimming, beach time with your kids, yoga or to create a festive beach look.

KIDS SIZES:

The kids swimwear has a tight fit. Thanks to the very stretchy material it will still be growing with the child for a while. If you are sticking to the rule "child's height equals size", you will be choosing the right size for regular and slim kids. Please also consider, that swim suit fabric (lycra) does get wider when wet.
